Three people died in separate accidents in Dubai over the last few days, according to a top police official.
Colonel Saif Mohair Al Mazroui, Director, General Directorate of Traffic in Dubai Police, said the first incident occurred at 7pm on Saturday on Umm Sequim Road going towards the Ranches. The motorist took a sudden deviation before colliding with a truck, resulting in the driver’s death.
In another incident on Sunday morning, two trucks collided in Jebel Ali at about 11.45am killing one person.
Meanwhile, on Monday morning, at about 10.45am, two vehicles collided on Al Aweer Road injuring a few people. One Emirati man was seriously hurt. They were all transferred to hospital.
On the same day, a young Emirati was killed and another injured when their vehicle veered off the track and rammed into the iron barrier separating the two streets.
