Today last chance to pay Sharjah traffic fines

Traffic violators can benefit from a 50% discount on their traffic fine if they pay up in the next two days.

The authorities will not be extending this offer after August 7.

The decision for 50% fee waiver was put up four months ago by the Sharjah Executive Council. It was their way of encouraging motorists not to pile up their pending fines, and to clear them at one go.

Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at Sharjah Police Colonel Shawaf Abdulrahman urged motorists to make use of this offer before it’s too late.

He highlighted that the decision to halve the penalty was to ease the burden on the motorists and to encourage them to pay up.

The payments can be made at any Sharjah police centres or through the police website.

The official stressed that the deadline will not be extended.
