Traffic snarl in Bur Dubai in morning rush hour

Heavy traffic has been reported by motorists travelling from Bur Dubai towards Sheikh Rashid Road.

According to an Emirates 24|7 Reader who was on her way to work at 7:30am, both Kuwait Street and Mankhool Street junctions were choc-a-bloc with vehicles.

The eye-witness reported that those driving on that entire stretch of road going all the way towards the Port Rashid signal would be delayed today. "Expect a 45-minute delay easily," she said.

Even the waiting time at the Sanaa signal leading to SZR will be longer than usual as there are a lot of cars queued up.

Meanwhile, streets leading to second Diyafah roundabout and Second December street are also completely clogged due to heavy traffic.

In other parts of Dubai,  an accident has been reported by Dubai Police near Al Rashidiya intersection from Al Khawaneej towards Airport Tunnel.
