Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Directorate has set a list of guidelines on car decoration during the National Day celebrations (SUPPLIED)
Dubai’s morning commuters were stuck in massive traffic gridlocks across the emirate following multiple accidents on Thursday morning.
“Multiple crashes reported till E44 Al Aweer Rd just before Nad Al Hammar Rd intersection towards #Dubai. Please watch out for congestion,” reported the Twitter handle for Traffic Dubai.
A few minutes later, they tweeted, “Another minor crash reported on SZR before Times Square towards WTC / #Dubai Mall. Congestion and Delays. Please drive with caution.”
The Twitter handle updated more accidents in a matter of minutes. “Yet another minor crash on SZR this tune after Al Manara Rd intersection towards #Dubai Mall. Please watch out for congestion and slow traffic.”

A commuter tweeted, “Accident on Sheikh Zayed just before Safa junction coming in from Abu dhabi #dubaiTraffic."
A motorist on Al Ain road also informed Emirates24|7 of huge traffic jam.
Another commuter informed that Mankhool Road is chock-a-block and the drivers heading to Dubai could expect 30-minute delays.
