Two charity money thieves jailed for 5 years

A Ras Al Khaimah court issued a tough verdict against two Asian men convicted of stealing charity funds by sentencing them to five years in prison and ordering their deportation from the UAE, newspapers reported on Thursday.

The two were caught by police after they broke into a local restaurant and tried to steal money from a charity donation box.

Police identified the two after they were caught by security cameras which showed the two were also involved in many burglaries in the northern emirate.
