Two men try to kill another with cleaver

Two men from another Gulf country tried to kill another man with a cleaver following an argument on the road in Abu Dhabi.

The two, who are standing trial in the capital, are also facing charges of driving under the influence of drugs and damaging the victim’s car by banging it with their vehicle.

The court was told the victim suffered from injuries all over his body after the two attacked him with a cleaver while he was in his car.

Newspapers said the judge on Monday adjourned hearings to October 13.
