Two security guards died and four seriously injured when a vehicle that lost control rammed into an accommodation for guards in Dubai’s Al Quoz area near Al Khail Gate at 6.30am on Thursday morning.

One of the security guards died on the spot and the other one in Rashid Hospital. Twenty people were also hurt.

The camp’s wall has also been damaged, said a source in the Berkeley Services Group’s accommodation in Al Qouz.

“We were waiting for the bus to take us to work. Suddenly, a vehicle rammed into the camp and hit the group of guards waiting in front of the camp’s gate. One of the dead is a Nepali named Bodh Raj Limbo and the second one is Sayed from Tamil Nadu, India,” said a source in Berkely Services.

The injured have been transferred to Rashid Hospital.

"Surgery has been done on the four injured people and they seem to be out of danger," said a source in the security company.
