UAE child killed, 6 women hurt in accident

A four-year-old Emirati girl died while six women from the same family were injured in a road accident in Oman on Thursday, a newspaper reported on Friday.

The women from the eastern oasis town of Al Ain were visiting Oman in four-wheel Toyota Land cruiser when their vehicle overturned Ibri province on Thursday morning.

The Arabic language daily Alkhaleej said the child, Fatima Mohammed Al Derei, was killed while six women suffered medium to serious injuries, adding that they were rushed to hospital in the province.
