A high ranking official has taken note of the UAE’s being recognised by the World Justice Project for its following the rule of law.

Justice is the foundation on which the UAE federation was built and the standard followed in all procedures and legislation, the Under-Secretary of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, Yousef Saeed Al Abri, said on Sunday, while commenting on the UAE's high ranking in the World Justice Project (WJP) Rule of Law Index.

The ranking reflects excellence in all spheres in which the UAE continues to make steady progress to live up to the vision of its leaders and the aspirations of its people. It is the fruit of the sincere work and perseverance of all judicial and security authorities, he noted in a statement.

Since its inception, the UAE has adopted justice as its foundation, and the judicial system has always been backed by the country's leadership as the cornerstone of security and social and economic stability, Al Abri added.

He further greeted President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department.
