The UAE National Day holidays are now in sight and it's now starting to sink in that you have made no vacation plans… yet.

It’s not too late and there are deals you can take advantage of to keep the family happy, without denting your bank account.

Etihad’s Holidays' is offering great deals to exciting worldwide destinations. “Enjoy a wide range of accommodation and holidays for less,” claims the website and there are some really good deals on offer.

For example, you can fly to Thailand or Vietnam and plan the holiday for three days for Dh1,999 per person or a ski package for 7 nights from Dh4,999 per person.

Starting prices include applicable taxes and fuel surcharges. Packages include return Coral Economy class flights with Etihad Airways departing from Abu Dhabi, priced per person sharing a twin room.

The sales period is from November 1 to November 30, 2013. Travel period is from November 1, 2013 to January 30, 2014.

Qatar Airways is also back with its 48-hour surprise sale. Under the offer, you can book your seats to several destinations at a special fare (25 per cent discount) for 48-hours only. This week’s surprises are available only until 8am, Thursday November 21, 2013.

Emirates Holidays also has many deals to suit different budgets. It has partnered with a number of hotels and hotel apartments, ranging from three- to five stars - to design short break holiday options to various destinations which include economy class return flights on Emirates, airport transfers and accommodation with breakfast.
