The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology, NCMS, has issued a statement warning of low horizontal visibility in various parts of the country due to fog.
The NCMS has also advised drivers to show extra caution on the roads.
According to the NCMS, “Relative humidity will increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas with probability of fog/mist patches westwards”.
The weather forecast on their official webpage for today reads; “Fair weather in general, but partly cloudy at times over some areas.
“Light to moderate winds freshening by night, especially over the northern offshore areas.”
The sea will be moderate but is predicted to turn rough “over the northern offshore areas and in Strait of Hormuz and Oman sea by night”.
Temperature will see a maximum of 33 degree Celsius, and a minimum of 9 degree Celsius in the internal regions.
