The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has warned motorists to take precautions on roads in the expected bad horizontal visibility due to blowing dust and sand.

NCMS, in an emailed press release, also warned against sea clubbing and seafaring due to very rough sea in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

Fresh northwesterly wind flow is expected to continue and increase during the next two days to become strong at times especially over the sea and the western region.

This, NCMS added, will cause blowing dust and sand over the scattered open land areas, which will lead to a poor visibility and sea will be rough to very rough with a drop in the temperatures over most areas of the country especially over the western region.
