Dense fog continued in parts of the western region on Wednesday, with UAE’s National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) forecasting “some rain” in the next two days.

The weathermen informed that the “movement of clouds over eastern and northern areas” could be “associated with some rain”.

Thursday and Friday will remain partly cloudy in the north and eastern regions, with slight chance of rain forecasted.

“Mild during the daytime and fair by night, partly cloudy in general with probability of towering clouds over eastern areas by afternoon,” their official website reported.

Meanwhile, chilly conditions spread over the eastern mountain areas with minimum temperature dropping to 12 degree Celsius.

The weather forecasters added that the “relative humidity is likely to increase during night and tomorrow early morning over coastal and internal areas”.

NCMS advised residents from going to the sea, claiming the water could become choppy due to “cloud activity”.

Their official twitter account also warned motorists about low visibility and advised them to drive carefully.

“Visibility is currently Liwa 800 meters due to fog and thick fog,” reported the NCMS.

Minimum temperature in the internal areas is reported at 17-23 degree Celsius, and maximum at 32-35 degree Celsius.
