Unstable weather continues in UAE: Rain today with dip in temperature

The cloud cover will continue increasing over different areas during daytime on Wednesday.

According to NCMS forecast, the Emirate will experience rainfall of different intensities, especially southward and eastward, with a slight fall in temperatures.

Different intensities of rainfall is being recorded across most of UAE on Tuesday morning, with motorists being warned of low visibility conditions on the roads.

The UAE’s National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has also confirmed heavy rains across parts of Abu Dhabi, including Al Dhafra, Khalifa City, Baynunah and Al Marfa, along with moderate over Tareef and Ghayathi.

Meanwhile, residents are reporting heavy rains in parts of Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi which commenced in the morning hours hours of Tuesday, coupled with strong winds.

Water ponds are being reported in some parts of Sharjah.

The NCMS has issued a warning against towering and rainy clouds, associated with fresh to strong winds at times causing blowing dust and sand, with poor visibility.

EARLIER REPORT: Weather forecast for 72 hours

Cloudy weather and rain expected over parts of UAE later today.
 
Cloudy and partly cloudy weather in the afternoon will give way to rain in the evening and tomorrow as well.
 
The National Center of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has predicted that the rain clouds will increase over scattered areas by later tonight and tomorrow (Tuesday) early morning and even Wednesday.
 
NCMS adds that towering clouds will be associated with strong winds leading to poor visibility at times. Motorists are advised to drive with caution.
 
"Light to moderate winds will blow during daytime, freshening by night, and strong at times during late night and Tuesday early morning especially in case of towering clouds, causing dust/sand to blow and reduce the horizontal visibility over some exposed areas," predicts the NCMS.  
 
The conditions in the sea will be slight to moderate during daytime, but will become rough by night and very rough by late night, especially in case of cloud activities.
