First steps to bid farewell to last drop of oil: Mohamed bin Zayed

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has lauded the adoption by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the Emirates Science, Technology and Innovation Higher Policy as an advanced step towards enhancing the nation's capabilities and gains.

"We have started our first steps & early preparations for the sustainability of our resources and to bid farewell to the last drop of oil."

"We seek to instill rather than transfer knowledge in our minds to generate innovative ideas and solutions for our nation & all humanity."

“We have great hopes that our educational institutions will inspire creativity in children to echo our goals & achieve national aspirations,” His Highness tweeted.

''We don't only seek to transfer knowledge, but also to instill it in our minds in a way that generates creative ideas and produces innovative solutions in the best interest and wellbeing of the nation and humanity at large.

“We have high hopes of our institutions to develop and foster the spirit of innovation and creativity in the young Emiratis, consistent with our goals and realisation of our national ambitions,'' he added.

''Our confidence is that sky's the limit when it comes to the ability of the UAE children to translate these policies into reality and that they will be able to place the UAE among the top ranking advanced nations,'' he said, affirming that human being is the real asset which the UAE counts on and will remain the leading driving force of change, creativity and innovation in all fields.

''The UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will remain the leader in the adoption of creative initiatives and innovative ideas and visions,'' he concluded.
