Parts of Dubai and Sharjah received rain on Wednesday morning, which slowed down traffic in some areas such as Ras Al Khor.

According to the Dubai Meteorological Office the weather will remain partly cloudy, with chances of isolated showers and light rain in the afternoon.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said that partly cloudy weather will continue but it could become cloudy at times in the western parts of the country with chances of rain.

Rain clouds are expected to cover the skies over the western coastline, stretching from Umm Al Quwain to Abu Dhabi and Al Ghuweifat with the chance of scattered rain.

The temperature is expected to hit a high of 33 degrees Celsius and a low of 24 degrees Celsius at night.

Weather is expected to be partly cloudy during the next few days. Strong winds could also kick up dust and push visibility to lower levels.

Conditions could also be cloudy over various UAE islands in the Arabian Gulf. The sea will be rough and unsuitable for small boats.

It rained on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi and Fujairah.
