To be held over three days from 4th to 6th of October at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, WETEX 2016 will include many activities, seminars and workshops. Also, similar events will be held in parallel during the first Dubai Solar Show happening in conjunction with WETEX under the umbrella of Green Week. “WETEX 2016 will organise a series of activities and events during the exhibition under the umbrella of third Green Week and in conjunction with the first Dubai Solar Show. The exhibition enables visitors, exhibitors, and other stakeholders to benefit from conferences, workshops and specialised events. It is also a venue for hosting experts and specialists from around the world while discussing the growing use of solar energy in the region to achieve sustainable development, and to ensure a sustainable future for generations to come,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, Founder and Chairman of WETEX.

DEWA will host a large number of participants from various specialties including students and academics, to have active participation in seminars and workshops. This will help in providing them with knowledge and expertise. Also, latest innovations will be highlighted to visitors to promote sustainable solutions and latest renewable energy technologies.

Moreover, throughout the three days at WETEX, Green Week will attract the participation of many schools and universities as a series of workshops will be held by DEWA’s Conservation team to highlight projects conducted by schools and universities.
