Wizz Air expands Dubai-Europe sector, Dh250 one-way fare

Central and Eastern Europe low-cost carrier Wizz Air will expand its network from Dubai by adding Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca from December 19.

The airline will operate two flights per week, on Tuesday and Saturday, from Cluj-Napoca to Dubai World Central Airport.

It was the first airline operating flights to Dubai World Central in 2013.

Wizz Air spokesman Daniel de Carvalho said the decision to increase services to Dubai from Romania follows the good results with Bucharest-Dubai route.

With this new service, Wizz is now offering total of 93 routes to 42 destinations in 15 countries from eight Romanian airports, with two routes now connecting Romania to the UAE.

Ticket price on Wizz Air's new Dubai route will start from 60 euros (Dh248) – one way price includes taxes, non-optional charges and one small cabin bag.
