Woman dies in water bike accident in UAE

A Kenyan woman in her twenties has died of injuries sustained when her water bike hit rocks in Lake Mamzar in Sharjah on Wednesday evening.

The injured woman was taken to Kuwait Hospital where she died.

Police said the incident took place at around 6pm. It said rescue and ambulance units were rushed to the place of accident.

Sharjah Police has appealed to water cyclists and users of jet skis to follow safety instructions for their own safety.
