World’s largest BMW showroom opened in capital

Spread over 35,000 sqm, it can house 80 cars at a time

The world’s largest BMW car showroom was inaugurated in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday at a cost of around Dh300 million.

Spread over 35,000 square metres, the showroom is located in Umm Nar area at the entrance of Abu Dhabi city and can accommodate 80 cars at a time and has spaces for 120 vehicles at its maintenance section.

The facility is equipped with a massive TV screen and includes a coffee shop, a mosque, children fun section, and a F1 racing simulator.

Outside the showroom, a large parking that can take 172 cars has been built.

The showroom is owned by Abu Dhabi Motors, the sole agents for BMW, Mini cars, and Rolls Royce luxury vehicles in the emirate.

It was opened by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubark Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, according to the semi official daily 'Al Ittihad', which said Minister of Economy Sultan Al Mansoori was present.
