A Kyrgyz woman waved a Bangladeshi taxi driver near a Dubai hotel at night and told him to take her home. Instead, the driver sped towards the beach, stopped the car, locked the windows and jumped on her in the back seat.

Just before he made his bold move, a woman’s sixth sense told her she was about to be raped. She quickly tore off his mobile number stuck on the real glass, put it in her bag and braced herself for his move.

“When he jumped on me, I resisted for nearly three minutes then I pretended that I wanted to vomit….when he saw this, he pushed me out of the car and fled,” the woman said, quoted by Alittihad newspaper.

The 26-year-old woman said she went to the police and gave them his number, allowing them to arrest him. The man, who was referred to the prosecutor, is to be tried on charges of attempted rape.
