Emirati baby killed, 11 hurt in RAK car crash

A six-month-old Emirati boy was killed and 11 adults were injured, some seriously, in a road accident in Ras Al khaimah on Wednesday.

The accident occurred on Adhan road in the northern emirate when one driver entered a road without noticing a car was coming from the other side, police said.

In one car, the baby was killed while his father and four brothers suffered medium injuries.

The father’s sister was seriously hurt and admitted to the intensive care unit while his wife suffered from multiple fractures in various parts of her body. Four other Emiratis in the other car also suffered from medium injuries.
