Emirati martyr's body arrives in Abu Dhabi

The body of martyred Emirati serviceman, Rashid Ahmad Abdullah Al Habsi, has arrived at Al Bateen Executive Airport onboard a military aircraft of the UAE Air Force and Air Defence.

Senior military officers welcomed the martyrs' body with a special military ceremony at the airport.

On Monday morning, the General Command of the UAE Armed Forces mourned the death of Al Habsi who was martyred while performing his national duty as part of  the Saudi-led Arab Coalition's Operation Restoring Hope, being conducted to back the legitimate government in Yemen.

The General Command of the UAE Armed Forces offered its condolences to the family of the martyr.

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a cable of condolences from His Highness the Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah in which he extended his condolences over the martyrdom of  Al Habsi.

Sheikh Khalifa received similar cables from His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, and His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait.
