General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has ordered the allocation of two planes to airlift the UAE football fans on Sunday to cheer the UAE national team, which take on the Saudi football team in the semi-final of the 22nd edition of the Gulf Cup being held in Saudi Arabia.

While one plane will leave at 3pm from the Abu Dhabi Airport terminal two, the other will leave from the Dubai Airport terminal two at the same time.

The registration of fans commenced today at the UAE Football Association offices in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Sheikh Mohamed's gesture is aimed at backing the team in its decisive final match, and also in the interest of fans who want to cheer the UAE national team and motivate the players so that they exert their utmost efforts to win the match.

The UAE Football Association will provide buses for the fans in Riyadh to transport them to the stadium to attend the match and then bring them back.
