Girl gets strangled playing on swing

A four-year-old girl was strangled to death when her head was caught in her swing’s rope after falling off, the Saudi Okaz daily reported on Monday.

The parents found their daughter Nawal Al Qaisi dead inside her room at their house in the southwestern province of Jazan after she fell out of the swing and had her neck trapped by the rope, the paper said.

“Police investigated the parents and found that the death of the girl was an accident and there was no criminal act involved,” it said.
