Government staff to get paid on August 22

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi; and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, have directed the payment of month of August salary to Abu Dhabi and Dubai government employees respectively as of August 22.

Abdul Rahman Al Saleh, Director-General of the Department of Finance in Dubai, said Sheikh Mohammed has instructed the transfer of salaries to the banks before Eidul Fitr to enable the families of employees meet their requirements.

He added that the department started today preparing the payrolls to send them to the banks early next week.

Abu Dhabi salaries


The employees of Abu Dhabi government's departments, the Armed Forces GHQ, Abu Dhabi Police and Armed Forces and Abu Dhabi Police retirees, will receive their salaries on 22 August, 2011 ahead of Eid Al Fitr which marks the end of Ramadan, to enable them to cater for their needs for the occasion, Hamad Al Hur Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Department of Finance, stated.

The move comes under directives from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and instructions from General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces to enable provide the best services.

Federal Government

The Ministry of Finance (MoF)

hasy announced that it will transfer the salaries of all federal government employees to their respective bank accounts tomorrow on August 18, 2011 ahead of Eid Al Fitr which marks the end of Ramadan.

The salaries will be available for collection on Monday, 22 August , 2011, MoF said in an emailed pess release.

Sharjah

The Department of Central Finance in Sharjah has ordered the transfer of salaries of government employees for month of August to the banks to pay them as of Aug. 22, according to the directives by His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Sharjah.

The move aims at meeting the requirements of the families ahead of Eidul Fitr.

 Ajman

The employees of Ajman government's departments will receive their salaries on 22 August, 2011 ahead of Eid Al Fitr which marks the end of Ramadan, to enable them to cater for their needs for the occasion, upon orders from His Hisghness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Ajman.

Sheikh Humaid also instructed the Government of Ajman relevant authorities to transfer the salaries on 22 August.
