Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, on Monday issued Executive Council Resolution No. (26) of 2015 approving the organisational structure of the Community Development Authority (CDA) of Dubai.

The resolution aims to enable the CDA to implement its strategic plans, develop its social services to better serve the community, and achieve excellence in community service in the emirate.

The newly-issued resolution authorises director-general of the CDA to issue the resolutions required for implementing its provisions, including those approving the functions of the CDA organisational units.

Executive Council Resolution No. (26) of 2015 also aims to enable the organisational units of the CDA to exercise their duties and powers with a view to ensuring high quality social services. The newly-approved organisational structure of the CDA is comprised of six sectors: Corporate Support Sector; Licensing and Control Sector; Human Rights Sector; Benefit and Financial Empowerment Sector; Social Planning and Development Sector; and Social Care and Development Sector.

The resolution takes effect from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official 'Gazette'.
