Hamdan directs hoisting UAE Flag atop Dubai govt buildings

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, has directed all Dubai government departments and institutions to partake in the nation’s campaign to celebrate the UAE Flag Day, on  November 3 by hoisting the nations’ flag atop their buildings and utilities.
 
Sheikh Hamdan’s instruction follows the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to unite in celebrating the UAE Flag Day by raising the flag on top of buildings and houses across the country.
 
On this occasion, Sheikh Hamdan said that the UAE's flag is already held high and dear in our hearts; yet with this occasion we pledge again our loyalty to our country and leadership and celebrate as well its ambitious march toward a brighter future that is full of achievements.
 
Sheikh Hamdan asserted that celebrating the nation’s Flag Day highlights the values of national unity under one leadership and denotes the strong sense of loyalty and belonging amongst the members of the UAE community.
