Hamdan issues resolution

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, has issued Resolution No (51) of 2014, partially amending the Executive Council’s Resolution No (6) of 2014 regarding the establishment of the Health Insurance Management Committee for Dubai government employees.

Pursuant to the new resolution, the Dubai Supreme Legislation Committee substitutes the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department when it comes to the membership of the Health Insurance Management Committee.

The Health Insurance Management Committee for Dubai Government Employees now includes Director-General of Dubai Government Human Resources Department as Chairman, and representative from the Dubai Department of Finance as Deputy Chairman, in addition to a representative of the Dubai Supreme Legislation Committee, a representative from Dubai Health Authority and a representative from the Dubai Government Human Resources Department.

The resolution comes into effect from the date of issuance and will be published in the official gazette.
