Hamdan issues resolution on school transportation in Dubai

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, has issued the Executive Council’s Resolution No.17 of 2014 approving the statute of Dubai Appreciation Award for Community Service.

The resolution is active from the date of issuance and to be published in the Official Gazette.

Pursuant to the resolution, the award will honour those who have made a positive impact in community service in medicine, education, social welfare and other fields.

The award will be open to individuals, private sector bodies, associations and organisations from inside and outside the country. The resolution detailed the nomination’s rules and regulations.

Furthermore, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has issued the Executive Council’s Resolution No. 18 of 2014 regulating the school transportation in Dubai.

The resolution defines the rules and regulations of the licensing, violations and fines imposed on school buses.

According to the regulations approved by Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority, the resolution details the highest specifications and standards to ensure students’ safety during their journey from and to school.

This resolution is active from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
