Khalifa issues several decrees

The UAE will have its embassy established in the Republic of Colombia. This is one of the several federal decrees issued by the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Under Federal decree 40 and 41 for 2012 Hassan Salem Al Khayyal, UAE Ambassador to Kuwait, will be transferred to the office of the Foreign Ministry, while Ali Ahmed bin Shukr Al Zu’abi will be UAE Ambassador to Kuwait.

Decree 42 renewed the secondment of Adnan Sultan Saif Al Nuaimi, diplomatic and consular corps member with the rank of Minister Plenipotentiary, to Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club for one year from April 1, 2012 to March 31, 2013.

Under decree 43 Saleh Ahmed Salem Khalifa Al Suwaidi and Rashid Mohammed Juma Al Mansouri, diplomatic and consular corps members have bene promoted from first secretary to minister plenipotentiary.

Decree 44 announced the termination of service of Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed Abdul Rahim, at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, provided that he is paid pension in line with the provisions of law no. 2 for 2000 with respect to Abu Dhabi’s civil pensions and retirement benefits.

Economic co-operation agreement between the UAE government and Montenegro has been ratified as per decree 45. Also, 133 Interior Ministry officers have been promoted.

The decrees were published in the federal official Gazette.
