King of Morocco, Gen. Mohamed perform Friday prayers at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

His Majesty King Mohammed VI and General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Friday performed the Friday prayer at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Prince Rasheed and Prince Ismail also performed the prayer, alongside King Mohammed VI and Sheikh Mohamed.

Al-Sheikh Khalifa Al Dhaheri delivered the Friday sermon, broadcast live by Abu Dhabi and Morocco TV channels. He spoke about the Islamic values and the course of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). He noted that Islam urges for modesty, which is an essential part of faith, adding that those who cherished modesty will be elevated in faith, while those who abandon it, embrace injustice and become biggest losers.

Al-Sheikh Al Dhaheri prayed for Allah to have mercy on the soul of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, preserve the UAE from sedition, and inspire President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Supreme Council Members and the Rulers of the Emirates and His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

After the prayer, the King of Morocco and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, accompanied by a number of Sheikhs and officials, visited the tomb of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
