President of Maldives, Abdulla Yameen, met on Tuesday with H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and President Yameen reviewed bilateral relations between the UAE and Maldives and ways to enhance them in all domains.
They also tackled a variety of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
President of Maldives welcomed Sheikh Abdullah and stressed that bilateral relations between the UAE and Maldives 'are witnessing a notable development'.
He also praised the UAE's cultural boom and the qualitative achievements accomplished by its people as well as the wisdom and vision of the country's prudent leadership.
Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the strong bilateral relations between the UAE and Maldives, while highlighting UAE's keenness on enhancing them.
Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, and Abdul Hameed Abdul Fattah Kazim Al Malla, UAE Non-resident Ambassador to Maldives, were present.
