UAE-Mauritania ties discussed

General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has received a message from Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, President of Mauritania, dealing with brotherly bilateral ties and a variety of matters of mutual concern.

Sheikh Mohamed got the letter when he welcomed today Lieutenant-General Mohamed Ould Cheikh Mohemd Ahmed, Chief of Mauritania's National Army Staff, who is currently visiting the UAE.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi welcomed the Mauritanian chief of staff and his accompanying delegation and discussed with him means of bolstering fraternal bilateral ties in various fields for serving mutual interests in consistence with the keenness of the leaderships to elevate these ties to higher levels.

The two sides also discussed avenues of joint cooperation and coordination, especially in military and defence, and exchanged views on a host of issues of common interest.
