Mohamed receives South Korea leader

General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received South Korean President Park Geun-hye and members of the delegation accompanying her on a current visit to UAE, at Emirates Palace on Tuesday.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi expressed his delight at the South Korean President's visit which reflects the strength of relations between the two countries.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed to President Geun-hye UAE's renewed condolences for the victims of the disaster of the Sewol-ho ferry which sank last month.

On her part, the South Korean president expressed her delight at visiting UAE in response to the invitation of  Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. She also commended the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to her and members of the delegation accompanying her.

The South Korean president also expressed her thanks to UAE and Sheikh Mohamed for offering condolences and sympathies  over the Sewol-ho ferry disaster, which alleviated the plight of the sad incident and showed the strength of the relations between the two countries and their peoples.

Mohamed bin Zayed receives Saudi foreign minister

General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Tuesday received Prince Saud Al Faisal, Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, who is visiting UAE accompanied by Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Saudi Minister of Interior, and Dr. Musaed Al Aiban, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet.

In the meeting, Prince Saud Al Faisal conveyed to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, to the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and his best wishes of good health for him.

Prince Saud Al Faisal also conveyed a message to the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan from King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz on the strengthening of the strategic relations between the two countries at all levels.

In a meeting, the two sides discussed all aspects of cooperation and the latest regional developments.

They also agreed to establish a higher joint committee, chaired by the foreign ministers of both countries, to work on the implementation of the strategic visions of the leaders of both countries in order to reach wider and more secure and stable avenues in the face of the regional challenges, as part of a strong and solid entity in the service of the well-being of the two fraternal peoples and in the support of the joint GCC action.

Present at the meeting were Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority (EAA), Ali Mohammed Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of Supreme National Security Council, and Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouie, Undersecretary of the Court of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.


Mohammed bin Zayed receives Egyptian Premier


General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received on Tuesday Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab who is currently on a visit to the UAE.

Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the Egyptian Prime Minister and discussed with him progress of the fraternal relations between the two countries, as well as issues of mutual interest. They also reviewed ties of cooperation in different developmental, social and economic fronts and ways to enhance them.

In the meeting which was attended by  Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior and Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed referred to the deep-rooted historic relations between the UAE and Egypt and their close and constructive cooperation in the different fields for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples and countries.

"We will continue our support to our brothers in Egypt at all levels and we will stand by them at all times," he added.

Sheikh Mohamed said the two countries were engaged on continuous consultations on common issues, thanks to the support and following up of their leaderships.

"President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has been working keenly on strengthening bilateral relations and on developing initiatives to improve living conditions of the Egyptian people and to help them realize their aspirations for progress, prosperity and dignity."

Sheikh Mohamed and Mahlab also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.

The Egyptian Prime Minister said he was delighted to visit the UAE. He also expressed satisfaction at the levels of coordination and cooperation between the two countries, thanks to the UAE leadership's sincere interest on the stability, security and future of Egypt.

Mahlab extended thanks of the Egyptian people to the UAE for the continuous support to the development, economic and social progammes currently underway in different parts of Egypt which include construction of schools and houses and renovation of hospitals.

Present were Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State and Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court. From the Egyptian side, the meeting was attended by Dr. Ashraf Al Arabi, Minister of Planning, Fakhri Abdel Nour, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment, Dr. Durria Abdul Haq, Minister of Information, Major General Amr Abdel Moniem, Secretary General of the Egyptian Cabinet, Ahmed Al Musalamani, Advisor to the Egyptian President and Ihab Hamouda, Egyptian Ambassador to the UAE.
