Mohammed arrives in Kuwait for 1st Asian Cooperation Dialogue Summit

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, arrived in Kuwait on Monday evening heading the UAE delegation to participate in the 1st Asian Cooperation Dialogue Summit.

Sheikh Mohammed was received at the airport by the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Subah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Subah, Kuwait Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Subah, Kuwait Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al Hamad Al Subah, Kuwait National Guards Deputy Chairman Sheikh Mashaal Al Ahmad Al Subah, a number of sheikhs and senior Kuwaiti officials.
 
At the airport's royal reception hall, Sheikh Mohammed received a warm welcome from the Emir of Kuwait who lauded strong brotherly ties with the United Arab Emirates. The Emir wished Sheikh Mohammed and the accompanying delegation a pleasant stay in their second home country and extended wishes of prosperity to the people of the UAE under its wise leadership.
 
Earlier on Monday, Sheikh Mohammed and the accompanying delegation left the UAE to participate in the Asian Cooperation Dialogue Summit which will take place in Kuwait on Tuesday.
 
With over 30 countries represented by heads of states or prime ministers, the two-day summit will focus on enhancing economic cooperation between Asian countries.
 
The UAE delegation accompanying Sheikh Mohammed include Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Trade Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Financial Affairs Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State Reem Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Director of Dubai Ruler's Office Lt. General Musabbah Rashid Al Fattan, Sheikh Mohammed's Media Advisor Ahmed Abdullah Al Shaikh, Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality Khalifa Saeed Suleiman and UAE Ambassador to Kuwait Ali Ahmed Al Za'aabi.
