Mohammed attends Dubai Police Academy graduation ceremony

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended the graduation ceremony of the 19th batch of student cadets and postgraduate students at the Dubai Police Academy on Wednesday morning.

Present were Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Fujairah Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ras Al Khaimah Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Dubai Authority for Culture and Arts, Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, senior official, senior Armed Forces and Police in the UAE and Arab Police Commands.

Major General Dr Mohammed Ahmed Fahd, Director of the Academy, in the names of the Academy and graduates, congratulated President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Members of Supreme Council, Their Highnesses Rulers of emirates and the UAE people on the advent of 40th national day anniversary.

He referred to the moral and material support from Sheikh Mohammed to the academy, making it a beacon of the education and training, similar to the prestigious academies in the world.

Major General Fahd called on the graduates to be protectors of the security, law and safeguard the stability of UAE community through pledging the allegiance to the country and its leadership.

The graduates recited the song 'Khalifa', a poem composed by Sheikh Mohammed.

The Vice-President honoured the top six graduates and congratulated them on their excellence, urging them to continue success and innovation.

He called on the graduates to be ready to discharge their duties with high efficiency, and continue more academic and practical training.

Sheikh Mohammed also congratulated Dubai Police Commander-In-Chief Lt. General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, all officers and teaching staff of the Academy for their efforts and follow up to train generations of youth equipped with knowledge, faith in Allah and the country, and an unwavering allegiance to the leadership.
