Mohammed inaugurates Arab Media Forum

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, on Tuesday morning inaugurated the tenth edition of the Arab Media Forum (AMF 2011), organised by the Dubai Press Club (DPC).
Also present were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council and Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority.
Maryam Bint Fahad, Executive Director - Dubai Press Club, in her speech on the opening session expressed appreciation on behalf of the journalists and Arab media people to Sheikh Mohammed for his patronage to the Arab Media Forum and media people in the Arab World.
Egypt's Minister of Culture Emad Abou Ghazi delivered a speech greeting Sheikh Mohammed. He also conveyed the greetings of Egyptian Prime Minister to the participants and praised the Dubai Press Club for the organisation of the forum regularly.
Sheikh Mohammed and the attendees watched a documentary film about Arab Journalism Award and Arab Media Forum in promoting role of Arab media.
The opening session was attended among others by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group; Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, Minister of Education; Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director-General of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai court; Dubai Police Chief Lt General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Ahmad Abdullah Al Shaikh, Director General of the Dubai Government Media Office (DGMO), in addition to journalists and media leaders in the country.
