Mohammed meets Iranian Foreign Minister

Discussed ways of enhancing bilateral relations

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai received Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi at Emirates Towers on Monday.

The meeting was held with the attendance of Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed and the Iranian official discussed ways of enhancing bilateral relations. They also exchanged views on a number of regional issues.

Also present at the meeting were State Minister Reem Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Director of Dubai Ruler's Court Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shibani, Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Iranian ambassador to the UAE Mohammed Reda Fayyadh and a number of senior officials.
