His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met with Dr Hamadoun I. Toure, Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) along with participants in the 12th ITU Telecom World conference at the VIP Hall at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The meeting was attended by Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) Chairman Mohammed Ahmed Al Qamzi, Etisalat Group CEO Ahmed Julfar and Etisalat-UAE CEO Saleh Al Abdouli.

Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the high-profile participants to the UAE and wished them success in their 12th ITU Telecom World conference, which is taking place for the first time in the UAE and the Arab region.
