Mohammed offers condolences to families of UAE martyrs

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Sunday offered condolences to the families of Lt. Pilot Saif Khalaf Saif Al Zaabi and Lt. Pilot Abdullah Ali Al Hamoudi, who passed away in Egypt during the joint military training conducted by in Egypt between the UAE Armed Forces and the Egyptian Armed Forces.

During his separate visits to the families of martyr Al Zaabi in Kalba, Sharjah, and martyr Al Hamoudi in Sarm Baltaweyeen in Fujairah, Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Lt. General Musabbah bin Rashid Al Fattan, Director-General of the Office of the Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Khalifa Saeed Sulieman, Director-General of Dubai Protocol Department.

He prayed to Almighty God to bless the souls of the martyrs with mercy in Paradise.

Sheikh Mohammed emphasised that the UAE male and female nationals are prepared to sacrifice their lives for the sake of their country's independence, glory and pride.

He noted that their love and loyalty to their nation and leaders is coupled with their strong belief in Allah. He emphasised that the leaders are keenly interested in ensuring the safety, security, stability and well-being of nationals.

The families of the two martyrs expressed their pride in their sons and prayed to Almighty to protect the UAE leaders and the stability and national cohesion between the people and the leadership.
