Mohammed receives 9 envoys' credentials

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Wednesday received the credentials of a number of new ambassadors to the country.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid received the credentials of Ambassadors Ephraim Mandla Hlophe of Swaziland, Paulo Cesar Meira de Vasconcellos of Brazil, Sayed Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al Musaily BaAlawi of Comoros, Philip Parham of the UK, Jennes de Mol of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Pham Binh Dam of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Darko Uskokovic of Montenegro, Alpha Seray Timbo of Sierra Leone and Osman Mohamed Omar of Eritrea.

The credentials were accepted by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid in the presence of Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian Works, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director General of the Office of  the Ruler of Dubai, Misbah bin Rashid Al Fattan, Director of  the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai's office, Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director-General of the Protocol Department and Hospitality in Dubai and a number of officials in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Mohammed issues decrees on DIMC, Nedaa and Dubai Courts

In his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has issued Decree No. (32) of 2014, appointing Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum as Chairman of Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC). The decree is valid from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

 Sheikh Mohammed has also issued Decree No. (41) of 2014 reshuffling the Board of Professional Communication Corporation (Nedaa). According to the decree, Nedaa's new board is composed of Talal Humaid Abdullah Belhoul, Chairman, Saeed Obaid Khamis bin Abid, Vice Chairman, Jamal Hamed Thani Buti Al Marri, member, Yousef Abdel Malak Mustafa Ahli, member and Mohammed Saif Al Muqbali, member.

Additionally, Sheikh Mohammed issued Decree No. (33) of 2014 appointing Judge Abdullah Saeed Matar Al Falasi at Dubai’s Court of Appeal, Decree No (34) of 2014 transferring Mohammed Ali Ahmed Al Bannai from Dubai Police to Dubai Courts and appointing him judge at Dubai’s Court of First Instance.

Decree No. (35) of 2014 appointed Judge Bader Mohammed Khalid Al Semiri at Dubai’s Court of First Instance and Decree No. (40) of 2014 appointed Judge Sir Richard Alan Field at the DIFC Court of Appeal.

All decrees should be published in the Official Gazette and considered valid from the dates of their assigned validities
