Mohammed waives Emiratis' housing loans

In his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, has exempted 97 Emirati citizens from their housing loans, with total value of Dh28.5 million, due to various reasons including low income, retirement, death and disability.

Sami Abdulla Gargash, CEO of Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, stated that according to Sheikh Mohammed’s directives, the establishment will bear responsibility for these amounts.

Gargash added that Sheikh Mohammed’s order reflects his firm approach in placing citizens’ needs on top of the government’s priorities and utilising all resources to provide quality life and prosperity for people.

On behalf of the citizens benefiting from this order, Gargash thanked the Ruler of Dubai for the generous gesture.

Mohammed allocates Dh35 million for UAE National Olympic Committee

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has allocated Dh35 million to complete the new building of the UAE National Olympic Committee (NOC) in Al Nahda, Dubai.

NOC Vice President Abdulrahman Mohamed Al Owais expressed his gratitude and sincere appreciation to Sheikh Mohammed for his unlimited support for UAE sports community. Al Owais affirmed that the new building will be completed soon and will reflect UAE’s position. He added that the new premises will gather all sports’ federations.

During their 37th General Assembly held on Wednesday at Emirates Towers, presidents of UAE sports federations expressed their happiness and appreciation for Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The General Assembly meeting was chaired by Abdulrahman Mohamed Al Owais and was attended by NOC Second Vice President Mohammed Hilal Al Kaabi, NOC Secretary General Mohammed Ali Al Kamali, NOC Deputy Secretary General Dawood Al Hajri and representatives of UAE sports federations.
