Mohammed, Zuma stress peace, stability

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received President Jacob Zuma of South Africa at Zaabeel Palace in Dubai on Monday.

During the meeting, which was held in the presence of Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Mohammed and President Zuma reviewed friendly relations and cooperation between their countries and ways of boosting them, which Sheikh Mohammed described as good and solid at all levels.
 
They also discussed several regional and international issues with emphasis on the need for consolidating the foundations of  regional and international peace and promoting stability.
 
They also emphasised the importance of exchanging visits between both countries’ private and public sectors to reach common visions and mechanisms to activate mutual cooperation in terms of economy, trade and investment.
 
The meeting was attended by Foreign Trade Minister Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Cabinet Affairs Minister Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, State Minister Reem Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality Khalifa Saeed Suleiman and a number of senior officials.
