President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered the release of 1,097 prisoners on the occasion of the 41st National Day of the country.
The release, comes as part of the President's keenness to give inmates chance to resume new life and ease suffering of their families.
The UAE president is accustomed to pardon prisoners and waived off their financial liabilities on religious and national occasions, reiterating the tolerance spirit of Emirati community.
