President receives Mohammed

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan received at Al Rawdah Palace, Al Ain, today His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai,  in the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President's Representative.

The Head of State was briefed by the Vice-President on the results of the third Arab Economic, Social and Development Summit held in Riyadh.

Among those attending the meeting were Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler`s Representative in the Eastern Region, Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler`s Representative, Lt.General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Adviser to the President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Executive Council Member, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ahmed Juma Al Za'abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Hazza bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Under Secretary of the Court of the Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region, the Director of the Dubai Ruler's Office, Lt. President receives Turkmen president’s invitation

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received a letter from the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, inviting him to visit Turkmenistan.

The invitation was accepted by the President and date of the visit will be set later.

The Turkmen ambassador to the UAE, Orazmyrat Gurbannazarov, delivered the letter during a call on the President in Al Ain. The meeting was attended by the Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President's Representative.

Sheikh Khalifa extended greetings to the President of Turkemenstan, wishing him good health and expressing his wishes for the happiness and progress for the friendly people of Turkmenistan.

Khalifa receives Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Ali Fahad Al Rashed at Al Rawdha Palace in Al Ain.

The meeting was attended by UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and UAE President’s Representative Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Al Rashed conveyed to UAE President the greetings of Emir of Kuwait His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah. On his part, Sheikh Khalifa wished the Emir good health and people of Kuwait further progress and prosperity, he also stressed on the depth of the fraternal relations between both countries.

During the meeting, Al-Rashed expressed his happiness in visiting the UAE along with a parliamentary delegation from Kuwait. He congratulated His Highness on the UAE national team's winning of the 21st Gulf Cup. The National Assembly Speaker wished the UAE further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Al Rashed also stressed on the deep and historical brotherly relations between the leadership and people of the two countries at all levels.
