"In 1960s, a dream started when my father and I ascended the world's tallest building - the Empire State in New York. We returned to Dubai fired with the dream that one day our city could be filled with such wonders as the world's tallest building. Now our dream is alive with the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Holding/Emaar tower. New heights are in our road ahead,” His Highness Sheikh Mohammed tweeted.

Thanks to the vision of His Highness, now Dubai is home to the tallest tower in the world - the latest being ‘The Tower’, which is going to be even higher than Burj Khalifa.
