The Monitoring & Enforcement Department of the Licensing Agency at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) launched the Women Field Inspection Initiative which entails qualifying female employees of the Administration to carry out inspection at the driving centers and institutes in Dubai.

Nabil Al Ali, Director of Monitoring & Enforcement at the Authority said: We strive constantly to launch unique services and initiatives that contribute to meet the needs of customers and service providers in order to raise the level of satisfaction towards the RTA in general and Licensing Agency in particular.

Establishing this interaction between female inspectors of the Authority with the (230) female trainers at the driving centers and institutes, is considered a great opportunity to work together to meet their wishes, especially since women inspectors helped reduce excesses and develop operating procedures that have contributed in reducing complaints from customers, while contributing in providing advice and guidance effectively to all categories.

He added: The women inspection at the driving centers and institutes includes lecture halls, contracts, trainers’ uniform, and driver knowledge test in addition to external inspection.”

He pointed out that administrative female employees at the Agency were qualified to carry out inspection through subjecting them to specialized workshops in the field of judicial officers and field inspection by the Departments of Human Resources and Development, Legal Affairs, and giving them the title of (female judicial inspectors).

The Director of Monitoring & Enforcement underlined the future plan for the initiative and most notably working on broadening the range of participation by the hiring of a greater number of female inspectors from the female employees of the Licensing Agency, so as to ensure the continuity of the initiative and perform the tasks as required, as it has positive impact on clients and service providers.
