Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, has welcomed the launch of School Olympics Project, which he said reflects the vision of leadership, and dreams of Emirati sportsmen as well.

"The support of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to the project further boosts chances of success as it translates the strategic vision of UAE government regarding the youth and sports sector," he added.

The Dubai Crown Prince praised the efforts of Higher Committee for School Olympics under chair of Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the UAE National Olympics Committee.

He congratulated them for their efforts in preparing future Emirati sportsmen.

"We are looking forward to reaping fruits of this project that shall catapult our sportsmen to crowning platforms.

“It requires concerted efforts from all national agencies, sports corporation and private sector to further boost the School Olympics," he added.
