Sheikh Hamdan launches 'The Benefit of Reading'

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, launched today " The Benefit of Reading" initiative.

The initiative coincides with the announcement of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan that year 2017 will be the "Year of Giving" in the UAE.

It is also part of the directives issued by Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to focus on three main areas including instilling the social responsibility at the private sector to serve the country, to promote volunteering, and to serve the nation.

The initiative was announced on the sideline of the graduation ceremony of the 24th batch of police officers from Dubai Police Academy which took place today.
